THE COFFEE HOUSE is an all-volunteer TV show, from setting the lights, to operating the cameras, to producing field pieces, to hosting on-air. The secret of our success is that while we are staffed by volunteeers, we hold ourselves to professional standards. Each program involves the efforts of 20-30 people, many of whom have worked on the show for years, some since its inception in 1996.

If you are already a skilled video producer or technician, all the better. We can put you
to use! If you want to learn, we can help you get trained.

There are lots of benefits to volunteering on the show, even apart from the deli sandwich dinners that accompany studio productions! Here is a chance to hone your video production skills in the context of an award-winning show, crew with experienced colleagues, and feel the comraderie of a successful team effort.

Even if making TV isn't your thing, there are many other ways you can make a significant contribution to the show. We need help with this Web site, with marketing and fundraising,
with community outreach.
